1. What this Cookie Policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how TECHNOSKY LTD uses cookies and similar technologies on https://technosky.works. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. The Company is based at 89 Copperfield Road, Rochester, ME1 2JE, United Kingdom. Questions: network@technosky.works or +44 7743 889900. A cookie is a small file stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and scripts that remember a preference or measure a visit. We use the word “cookie” for all of them unless a distinction matters.
The website presents a vinyl lacquer cutting-lathe interface as a corporate design. That visual system does not itself require advertising cookies. Animation, groove rings, and a desktop-only cursor reflection are implemented in CSS and first-party scripts. They do not profile you for third-party advertisers. We say this so that the design metaphor is not mistaken for a tracking product.
2. How cookies are classified
Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the site to work as you request: security, load balancing if used, remembering that a cookie notice was closed, and carrying a form from one step to a confirmation page in the same session. These do not require consent under PECR, though we still describe them. Functional cookies remember a non-essential preference such as a collapsed accordion if we ever store that preference beyond the page. Analytics cookies help us count visits and see which pages fail. Marketing cookies would remember that you saw our goods on another site. At the date of this Policy we do not run a third-party advertising cookie as a core feature. 3. First-party cookies we may set
A session identifier may exist while you complete a contact form so that a malformed resubmit can be distinguished from a new note. It is first-party, typically expires when you close the browser or shortly after, and is used to keep the mastering request coherent. A cookie-preference value, if implemented, stores whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, for up to twelve months, so that we do not nag on every groove of the page. A security cookie may support protection against cross-site request forgery on a future authenticated area; the public site at launch does not require a customer login.
Local storage may hold nothing, or may hold a simple flag that a mobile menu was used, if a developer stores such a flag. We do not use local storage as a shadow profile of your wholesale intent. 4. Analytics
If we enable a first-party or privacy-respecting analytics tool, it may record pages viewed, approximate country, device class, and referral source. We would use this to see whether legal pages load, whether the contact note is abandoned, and whether mobile overflow appears in real use. IP addresses would be truncated or not stored in identifiable form where the tool allows. We would not use analytics to decide your credit. Consent would be sought for analytics cookies that are not strictly necessary.
If analytics are not enabled, visits are visible only as ordinary web-server logs kept for security, as described in the Privacy Policy. Server logs are not cookies, but they are a similar measurement groove and are mentioned here to avoid a false contrast.
5. Third-party cookies and embeds

6. Duration
Session cookies last for the browsing session. Persistent cookies last until they expire or you delete them. Preference cookies, if used, last up to twelve months. Map and font third parties set durations we do not control; consult their notices. Server logs last as in the Privacy Policy.
7. How you can control cookies
You can delete cookies in your browser settings, block third-party cookies, or use a browser that partitions storage. You can use tracking protection lists. You can refuse the map embed by not loading those pages or by blocking third-party frames. Essential features of a static brochure site will still describe our goods. A blocked cookie cannot usually be restored by us; you control the device.
If we display a banner, the reject control will be as easy as the accept control for non-essential cookies. We will not hide rejection behind a groove of twelve clicks. Strictly necessary cookies may still be set. The law does not require us to break the website’s security to honour a theatrical refusal of all possible bits.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers may send a Do Not Track signal. There is no single UK legal standard that maps that signal onto every script. If we implement a recognised Global Privacy Control or similar, we will treat it as a rejection of non-essential tracking cookies. 11. Why a merchant electronics site uses any cookies at all
A brochure site could theoretically avoid all cookies. We still describe them because browsers, maps, fonts, and future forms may set them, and because PECR expects honesty rather than a blank centre label. Our legitimate aim is a stable, readable site that does not overflow on a telephone, that can receive a mastering request, and that can show where the Rochester desk sits on a map. Those aims do not require a dossier of your household. They may require a small amount of storage so that a preference or a security token can persist.
12. Cookies and the contact form
The contact form posts a name, email, and message. Those fields are personal data under the Privacy Policy, not cookies. A cookie is not needed for you to type. 16. Legal bases
Strictly necessary cookies: PECR exemption for those used for a service you request, and UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) or (f) as appropriate for the underlying processing. Non-essential cookies: consent, Article 6(1)(a), collected in a granular way. Withdrawal of consent does not unravel a completed order. It stops further non-essential storage.
17. Processors that may set cookies
A host, a content delivery network, or a font and map provider may set cookies we do not mint ourselves. We contract where we can for appropriate protection. We cannot rewrite Google’s cookie names from Rochester. We can choose whether to load the embed.
18. Testing and staging

21. Relationship between cookies and the vinyl interface scripts
The Site uses first-party JavaScript for a burger menu with body scroll lock, for accordion sleeves on the services page, for statistic counters, for scroll reveal, for a desktop-only parallax shift, and for a desktop-only cursor-reactive groove reflection on the hero. Those scripts read pointer position in memory for the duration of a page view. They do not need to write a cookie to do so. If a future version stored pointer heatmaps, that would be analytics or even more sensitive measurement, and this Policy would have to name it. We do not currently store heatmaps of your stylus path across the lacquer disc graphic.
The two-direction marquee of matrix codes is a CSS animation. It does not profile you. It does not know whether you are a wholesale buyer or a householder. It is decoration with a corporate metaphor, not a tracker.
22. Consent records
If a banner is present, we will keep a record that a choice was made, the approximate time, and the categories accepted or refused. That record is how we demonstrate PECR compliance. It is not a licence to ignore a later browser deletion. If you delete the preference cookie and reload, you may see the banner again. That repetition is a consequence of your deletion, not a punishment.
23. Cookies on legal pages
Legal pages are designed for legibility on Label Cream surfaces. They may still load the same fonts and scripts as the rest of the Site. Reading the Privacy Policy does not require advertising cookies. A print action in your browser is local to you.
24. Email and cookies
Emails we send do not need to contain tracking pixels. If we ever include a pixel to see whether a trade email was opened, we will treat that as marketing measurement and honour PECR. Transactional emails about an order you placed may include links to the Site. Clicking a link is your choice. The landing page then follows this Cookie Policy.
25. Other sites
Links to manufacturer support pages, to the ICO, or to Google Maps full site are outbound. Their cookies are not ours. We are not responsible for their banners. Read their notices if you follow the link.
26. Flash, evercookies and abusive storage
We do not use Flash cookies. We do not use evercookie techniques to resurrect identifiers you deleted. We do not use audio fingerprinting or canvas fingerprinting as a substitute for a declined analytics cookie. If a library we add is found to fingerprint, we will remove it or disclose it and seek consent. That is part of keeping a clean master rather than a noisy tracker stack.
27. Updates after a technology change
If we self-host fonts, the Google Fonts third-party cookie risk described earlier may fall away. If we replace a map embed with a static image of 89 Copperfield Road, Rochester, ME1 2JE, the Google Map cookies would no longer load from our page. Either change would be an improvement in the noise floor of third-party disclosure. This Policy would be edited to match the actual cut, not left as a ghost of an old embed.
